Homework is viewed as having an important value in Hollybush Primary School for the following reasons:
• It consolidates and reinforces work already done in class.
• It encourages self discipline and personal organisation.
• It creates additional time for structured learning.
• It bridges the gap between home and school.
• It allows direct involvement by parents in their child’s learning.
The Homework Policy is available on request from the school office but queries or concerns regarding homework may be addressed with the class teacher.
